When we came across this home back in February of 2017 we just knew it was the one, it’s a 3 bed room 2 bath ranch style house with cedar siding. We fell in love with it as soon we drove up the first time,. Close to town for work but still secluded in the woods. Close to the Big three gold medal reservoirs in our area; 11 Mile, Antero, and Spinney are all within an hour of the home, and that is just naming a few of the great fishing & kayaking reservoirs. The home is 6 miles away from BLM of 2000+ plus acres to get out a roam ride ATV, horses camping ETC. There is also a seasonal spring that runs through the bottom of the property in summer.
Top deck was replacing in summer of 2018. Bottom deck was replaced in 2020. Both were built using treated lumber; the railing itself is something spectacular and one of a kind. All the rail logs came from the Hayman burn scar so when stained, they turn red and blue hues.
All the appliances upstairs were replaced in December of 2020. The downstairs pellet stove was installed March of 2022. The house is heated by 2 PP130 Pelpro pellet stoves each hold 120lbs of wood pellets. House also has a 325 gallon propane tank and furnace as back up. The home is set up with a 6000-watt solar system. The 20 panels produces around 750 KWH every month from March-September. In the colder months; October- February the system produces around 350-550 KWH a month. The system is set up with Core that does net meter back so when the system is really producing lots of energy in the warmer months, whatever you don’t use goes into a bank that then is able to be used in the colder months. When there are days when the sun is not out. at the end of the year core pays out the balance of whatever is left in the net meter bank either to you by check or its currently set up as credit to the core account. All the lighting in the home has been switched over to LED.
